The Miami Heat have now won 7 straight and despite all the noise following Bam Adebayo’s historic night and the mixed rhetoric around it, the Heat still found a way to stack another win against the Bucks. This came despite Giannis and Bobby Portis combining for 50 points and it was mostly due to the play of the young guys Pelle Larsson and Kasparas Jakucionis, who both shined in the win. Bam closed it out with 13 points in the fourth quarter to secure the dub for the Heat.
Pelle Larsson was most definitely our Player of the Game in the winner’s circle, having a complete performance and recording a career high of 28 points on 9/14 shooting along with 6 rebounds and 6 assists. He also knocked down a nasty dagger three late in the fourth after a great drive and kick from Davion Mitchell.
Kasparas Jakucionis poured in 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds while hitting 5 of his 11 threes, a very impressive display from the rookie.

Davion Mitchell also had himself a game with 13 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds on 5/9 shooting and most importantly, 0 turnovers.
Dru Smith did Dru Smith things on the defensive end that unfortunately won’t be seen on the box score, but he’s completely gained Spo’s trust. He’ll continue to find minutes simply because he keeps finding ways to make plays on the court and tonight was just another one of those nights where he kept the team afloat during his spurts of minutes.
And now the man of the hour, Bam Adebayo, did not have the most impressive game considering the insane expectations placed on him after a career defining night just two nights prior. He looked completely exhausted and just didn’t have his touch. Most of his misses were hitting the front of the rim and he simply wasn’t moving the same. Regardless, he still found a way to insert himself into the game when it mattered most, getting to the line and closing the fourth with 13 points in the quarter and finishing the night with 21 points and 8 rebounds.

And yeah, the Heat simply found another way to win and extend this impressive run to 7 straight. During this stretch we’ve seen some incredible performances from everyone including Tyler Herro earning Player of the Week honors, Kel’el Ware putting up a ridiculous stat line of 16 points, 11 rebounds, 7 blocks and 5 steals against the Nets, Bam’s historic 83 point game and now Pelle Larsson’s career night capped off with a dagger three to seal the win.
THE HEAT ARE ROLLING.
Let’s see how the Heat respond on Saturday against the Orlando Magic who sit head to head with Miami in the standings. The Magic are also 4-0 against Miami this season.
Best of luck to our guys and let’s hope we see Tyler Herro, Norman Powell and Andrew Wiggins back healthy and ready to stack up more wins, stay out of the play-in and gear up for a strong playoff push.
